Wherein I Lose My Mind Over The Season 2 #Outlander Trailer

Earlier this week I was in my house, minding my own beeswax when I checked Twitter, which I do several times a day. #Addict  My entire Twitter feed was like a never-ending Santa Claus Naughty List with frenzied tweets about the Season 2 Outlander Trailer and the announcement that we FINALLY have a date!

Just like you, I have thoughts and feelings or THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS(!) and I can’t keep them inside.  Rather than send out 17,000 individual tweets, I’m gonna to try to confine all my feels in one place…as in right here!  Fasten your seat belts folks, cuz here we go!

Holy hell my people, I do NOT remember this in the books and it gives me life!  And not for nothin, Murtagh is HAWT!  He quite possibly took a very long bubble bath and he’s wearing a fancy Scottish vest thingie!!!

Jamie realizes their lives might become a bit more complicated and asks that Claire promise they’ll always find a way back to each other.  He also has the ability to bring snacks on the trip.JamieDimple

You’d think at my age, I’d be able to control my impure thoughts, but NO I cannot and so I will attend confession first thing tomorrow…but in the meantime, I believe I’ll just keep ogling.

Why is Claire exiting a plane….and when is this….when is this???!!!!???

The French people are celebrating French things in a luscious French room wearing gorgeous French clothes and I think I might possibly lose my damn mind from the scensory overload. Merci mesdames et monsieurs!

Why is Claire sitting on that bench and why are there WWII-ish planes flying overhead??? What. Is. Happening?!?

There’s a battle…is it Culloden?  Praying for book changes!!!

Apparently you can travel back through the stones to hot baths and electricity, but you have to trade in the gorgeous warrior for the nice steady professor when you do it.ClaireHospital

Raise your hand if you’ve ever seen a man like this in Target. *Foot tapping* Anyone? Anyone?  Do we think evolution wiped them all out and how can we get them back?

And I think he thinks they’re about to live happily ever after…

So that’s it. The most beautiful, dramatic, visually orgasmic program on television  and we only have to wait around 2 months longer to see it. I can do this…I can do this.   #MustLearnYogaAndMeditation

I have read most all of her books and am in this story up to the start of the American Revolution.

I am very much looking forward to the start of this second round of her story.

I am also curious about any possible personal relationships between the actors, such as Claire and Jamie ( Sam and the woman who plays Claire ).

Hi Clark, Drums of Autumn is one of my favorites, hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for writing. M

I am currently reading “Dragonfly in Amber” to my hubby for Marital Reading. I’m really enjoying reading this out loud (even if my Scottish accent is pitiful) because he’s enjoying it, too, and laughing at the funny bits, and he loves Diana Gabaldon’s writing. But, he’s already so confused by the time jump stuff, I hope it’s not too difficult for new viewers!

My dear Connie, I would pay good money to hear your Scottish accent and ‘Marital Reading’ sounds a bit suspect to me. Is it code for something more ‘exciting?’ My hubby was very confused by the time jump so I finally broke down and told him the plot like nursery school Story Time!??

Thanks so much Marie! I either had to get my thoughts all in one place or run around my house knocking art off the walls and crashing into the furniture cuz I have FEELINGS!?

Thanks for the photos! You captured some of the scenes that I wanted to look at…in depth! It’s like being 9-years old and waiting for Christmas!! I don’t know if I’ll make it some days!

Oh Kelly, I thought I’d wear out my index finger starting, pausing and rewinding, but I finally got what I wanted. So glad you enjoyed it!

I, too, was consumed on last Thursday. Thank god I was working from home or else I probably would have been fired, screaming in my cubicle. I’ve read all the books and have been hyper- analyzing every still from the trailer. I do think tho, the shot of Claire exiting the plane is from the 40’s, not 1968.

I think you may be right about Claire exiting the plane in the 40’s. The flight attendants would probably be wearing mini-skirts and those funky hats if it was the 60’s. Either way…I’m losing my mind…I cannot wait to watch Season 2!?

I finally figured it out! Murtagh doesn’t really know Claire’s from the future. She’s having one of those weird daydreams again. ?

In The Exile, we see that Murtagh saw Claire come through the stones. He’s known all along, it’s just not mentioned in the big books. 🙂

Hey Erika, I read The Exile a while back but I forgot about Murtagh. That development is SO exciting!! Now if they’d just keep him around for a verra long time…?

First yes I was surprised that Murtagh knows but DG says he did and am glad he does. #savemurtagh. Yes that’s wee Fergus on the horse, love him. Claire getting off the plane has to be 1948 going by clothes and she looks a wee bit pregnant.

Re: objectifying Sam, well we’re all doing it, it may be wrong but we can’t help it, he’s just so beautiful and so us Cait.

Thanks for your summary and roll on April, can hardly contain myself with excitement. I’m gonna have to be strapped down from April 1st on.

I was hoping maybe a certain someone DID make it to Culloden, but I’m obviously delusional. ? That’s a book change I could stand up and cheer about!??????

Just discovered your enjoyable site. A newbie to Outlander since Christmas marathon, but show dazzled me at once. What a great show. I’m hooked like millions of others. Amazed that it hasn’t snagged more awards, but think it has been a bit low profile and many assume that it is a woman’s romance novel. I did and for that reason didn’t follow up when a relative recommended it to me a year earlier. Mistake on my part.

I’m so glad you found my site as well as the show PJ. Outlander is so good and there’s so much buzz around it, I’m sure the popularity will continue to grow. So glad you’re finally here!
